Eurydice
by Sarah Ruhl
directed by Mathew Green
February 10 - 26

Eurydice, by Sarah Ruhl, is freely adapted from the Greek myth of Orpheus, told from the perspective of Eurydice, his wife.  In Ruhl's play, Eurydice finds herself in the land of the dead and must decide whether to return to life on earth with her beloved husband or to stay in the underworld with her long-lost father.  This poetic and striking play focuses on the meaning of love and the importance of communication, and it is peopled with such characters as Eurydice, Orpheus, the Three Stones, and the Nasty Interesting Man.
