                       The Station Theatre Building

The Celebration Company is accepting proposals for the 2008-2009 season at the Station Theatre. The season opens in September 2008 and closes in May 2009, and typically includes eight productions (one each month). Interested directors should mail proposals to:

or deliver proposals to Rick Orr, at Rick Orr Florist in downtown Champaign.

Proposals should include title, author, cast breakdown, technical requirements, concept statement, brief theatre resume, preference for production month, and a copy of the script.
Deadline to submit proposals is March 31, 2008

We are an independent theatre company dedicated to bringing quality live performance to East Central Illinois. Our company makes its home in the historic Station Theatre Building located in downtown Urbana, Illinois.

Since its founding in 1972, the Celebration Company has produced a wide variety of exciting shows. They have ranged from classic, traditional plays to daring new shows and original works.

The Celebration Company is funded in part by the Illinois Arts Council.
